‘Exploding Kittens’ (and Imploding Kittens Expansion Pack).
In our family, like most, we looooove to laugh! But when it comes to board/card games, we’ve struggled to find one that our whole family (ages 7-44) really enjoys. Inevitably, either Orion, GG, or both of them simultaneously, get frustrated and start to cheat or Suzy and I get frustrated from the monotony. This is not the case with Exploding Kittens. NOT AT ALL! We love it! It’s fun, funny, full of suspense and requires just the right balance between strategy and luck. The pace of the game is just right, too — swift enough to keep play moving along and avoid any impatient frustrations, but not frenetic, so there’s plenty of time for lively banter. The action cards are clever and hilarious and the artwork is great. Make sure you’re always paying attention, though, because if you forget which way the direction of play is moving, you’ll be wearing the ‘Cone of Shame’ (only available with the Imploding Kittens Expansion Pack).
